Originally from the Dominican Republic, I moved to New York City at age 10, seeking the American dream. After graduating high school at 17, I embarked on a fulfilling 21-year U.S. Navy career, acquiring invaluable leadership, organizational, and management skills. However, I didn't gain personal finance knowledge or learn how to earn beyond my paycheck.
In my 14th year of service, my wife and I faced overwhelming debt. Desperate for a solution, I explored the direct selling industry and started a home-based business.
